Here is my weekly look at what is on the public calendar at Black Desert Resort in Ivins for Wednesday, November 4 through Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Everything below comes from the resort's own event schedule, with the dates, times and venues as the resort lists them. It's a relaxed week of live music, a Saturday brunch, football night and trivia. Schedules can change, so please confirm with the resort before you go.

Events this week

Thursday, November 5: Live music at Flo with Austin Grayson

The Thursday music lineup at the Flo lobby bar features Austin Grayson on November 5, from 6:00–9:00 PM on the resort's schedule, with cocktails and food available. The resort notes that guests must be 21 or older. Event details on the Black Desert Resort calendar.

Friday, November 6: Concerts On The Yard with Jake Parkinson

The Friday lawn concert series at Club 73 has singer-songwriter Jake Parkinson on November 6. The resort's schedule lists it from 5:00–7:00 PM, which lines up with the earlier sunsets this time of year (the event description still mentions 6:00–8:00 PM, so double-check before heading over). Event details on the Black Desert Resort calendar.

Saturday, November 7: Brunch with Live Music at Latitude

Saturday brunch at Latitude (main floor) runs 11:00 AM–2:00 PM on November 7 with the Cynergy Band, a duo the resort says plays Mariachi, Latin and Americana favorites. Event details on the Black Desert Resort calendar.

Monday, November 9: Monday Night Football at Club 73

Game night is on The Yard at Club 73 starting at 6:00 PM on November 9. The resort says food and drinks are served through the end of the third quarter, and there are games on site. Event details on the Black Desert Resort calendar.

Tuesday, November 10: Trivia Tuesday at 20th Hole

Trivia night is at 20th Hole on Tuesday, November 10, at 6:30 PM. The resort says each week has a new theme, winners get prizes and gift cards, it's complimentary for restaurant guests, and no reservation is needed. Event details on the Black Desert Resort calendar.

Guided outdoor adventures

The resort's schedule this week also includes bookable guided outings, such as guided hikes, canyoneering, rappelling, and e-bike tours in Snow Canyon and Zion National Park. These are paid, reserved experiences, so check the resort's schedule for current times and availability.

All of these venues are at Black Desert Resort, 1500 E Black Desert Dr, Ivins, UT 84738.

Golf this week

There's no PGA TOUR or LPGA tournament at Black Desert this week. The resort hosted the PGA TOUR's Bank of Utah Championship October 1–4, 2026, according to pgatour.com.

Why Black Desert is a highlight of living in Ivins

Black Desert Resort sits on the lava fields right here in Ivins, and its championship course has put our town on the national golf map. The resort says it hosted the first PGA TOUR event held in Utah in 60 years. For neighbors, a weekly calendar of music, brunch and game nights means a fun evening out is only minutes from home. If you'd like to live close to it all, take a look at Ivins homes for sale, nearby Kayenta and Snow Canyon, or browse all the communities I serve. You can also find more things to do on the regional events calendar.
